Hi-hats can be quite hard to do quickly using the standard "ts ts" method, so here I'll explain how to use interconnecting hi-hats to beatbox far faster than normal.

To make the sound

1 - Learn the basic hi-hat - you should certainly know that sound by now!
2 - Combine it with a "k" sound as if you were saying the word "tikka"
3 - When added to fast beats this gives the illusion that you are doing multiple "t t t" hi-hats

With practice, you'll be able to go extremely quickly.
