Human beatboxing is easily the fastest-growing trend in youth culture since hip-hop began. Emerging in the early 1980s, beatboxing developed in New York and has since grown, found new fans and pioneers in Europe and advanced to levels unimaginable to those who have never witnessed a live show. This is a showcase for some of the best beatboxing talent in Britain. Expect beats, glottal acrobatics, grunts, clicks, multiphonic voicings, falsettos and incredible feats of abstraction, noise and soul.
