Creating a reverb effect on sounds.

A method pioneered by Biz Markie is called a vocal tap. Fingers are used to manipulate the sound in the vocal chords.

By manipulating a simple breath sound you can create an effective reverse reverb. 

This sound is very simple but can sound great on recordings. I don't want to get into a great debate about whether it is true beatbox as, yes, you guessed it, it uses a finger!
