The Vocalmente A Cappella Loop Station Competition “Vocaloops” is the world’s first dedicated a cappella loop station competition.
Aim
The Competition is for individual vocalists using loop technology of their choice.
The music content can be cover songs or original music and is not limited by styles.
No instruments are allowed to be used – all sounds have to be produced with the human voice or the body on stage. The performance must not contain any prerecorded material or sounds.
We strongly encourage creativity and original content – the aim of the competition is to foster creativity and originality and while technical aspects & skills (such as beatboxing) are being taken into consideration, this is first of all a music competition using looping as an instrument.
