As far as patterns are concerned, I’d advise anyone who wants to get faster to learn two main patterns:

tkK (tk + rimshot)

pehK (peh snare + rimshot)

These are the staple of my faster stuff, and you’ll notice a lot of technical beatboxers like Alem and CLR use them. Other than that, try to learn the kick roll (BdB) too. If you replace the kick in a beat with a kick roll, the beat will sound more complicated and full.

Also, practice hi hats. Get them clean and fast, like HeAt does them. They sound great and can help fill out a beat, making it sound more technical
