The cricket sound or the cricket chirp is a fun sound that you can use both at a party and during a beatbox routine.

Standard Beatbox Notation (SBN)

{ ^GGh }

How it's done

There are two ways of doing this sound, which is contingent on your ability to do a uvular oscillation (vibrating the "punching bag" looking part of your throat) or a tongue roll (rolling your "R's").

  1. Do a tooth whistle OR inward whistle OR regular whistle
  2. Do a uvular oscillation or a tongue roll
  3. Combine the two!
