Hey guys, so I was wondering if you guys know of any unique musicians that can be a great influence on beatboxing. I am looking to branch out my variety and flow, so I hope listening to some new music helps with that. All replies are appreciate 🙂

Well, if you want a lot of influence for beatbox, just listen to some Jazz drumming. Whatever style it is, whether it’s bebop, fusion, whatever, it’ll probably help you out. Especially if you’re a technical beatboxer.

If you simply want something to listen to, though, some of my favorites are Them Crooked Vultures, Queens of the Stone Age, Pink Floyd. Weather Report is cool but at times, they’re almost too experimental for me. For rap, try the album Ilmatic or Ready to Die if you haven’t already listened to them.
