Hey guys, I would really appreciate if you could answer this questions for me.

    – What do you think of this routine?

    – How I can improve it?

    – Is the drop a “wow” factor?

Hey Leenix – thanks for your post!

Personally, I thought this was a very solid and clean routine. It was clearly well-rehearsed.

In terms of having a ‘wow factor,’ it needed some more spice. The flow was great, but there wasn’t enough tension in the buildup. What can help you with this routine is that when you go for the drop, try to use more low-sub bass sounds.

Most of your sounds in your routine were mid’s and high’s, so when you build that tension to the buildup, try to continue using higher sounds and at the drop take a pause and drop a very bass-heavy sound to make it more impactful.

I might get killed for suggesting this, but a simple lip roll or throat bass can do you lots of good!

    Hope this was helpful 🙂

Hey Jon, thanks for the advice. I will work on my buildups and make my drops more impactful. I forgot to ask a question – Do you think this routine is original?

Well, that’s a difficult question. Nothing is truly original. But I liked it and if you keep doing routines like this, it could eventually become your style. Is it 100% original? No, of course not. But if you had a more distinct melody and work on the drops, you’ll get there!

I see your point, of course nothing is 100% original. Thanks for replying.
