The Sennheiser e835 is a well constructed cardioid dynamic microphone designed specifically for live stage vocals.

This mic is clearer sounding than its cheaper cousin, the e825s. Vocals have presence but I found the bass a little floppy and not as tyte as I would like it for beatboxing. However, as you can hear on the audio sample, the mic sounds pretty hot. The e835 is also available as the e835s with an on/off switch.

A good mic at a great price and worth a look for all beatbox newbies and MCs.
